The Lilies of the Field

Traveling Army veteran and handyman Homer Smith finds work and a faith-rich community when he reluctantly builds a chapel for a small band of immigrant nuns.

Homer sets out to travel the country alone following his Army discharge, content to go where the spirit moves him. When he encounters a group of immigrant nuns and agrees to fix their leaky convent roof, he gets more work—and community--than he ever bargained for, eventually building a chapel for the insistent Mother Superior.

This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area.
