A Musical Salute to Veterans

Join us to celebrate Veteran’s Day for a free concert of musical entertainment honoring America’s Veterans, presented by the Medical Musical Group of Washington DC and Houston’s Texas Medical Center Ochestra. Both of these award winning organizations are comprised primarily of doctors, nurses, medical students, and other medical professionals and volunteers. TMCO and MMG will partner with Camp Hope to reach out to veterans and bring them to Miller Outdoor Theatre for the concert. Musicians will be joined by some very special guests to make this a memorable evening.

The mission of the orchestra is to provide health care professionals with a high-quality outlet for creative expression through the world of symphonic music; perform regularly at affordable concerts that are open to the public and in an accessible venue; attract a diverse audience by commitments to select popular programming reflecting Houston’s diversity; and bring public attention to, and provide programmatic support for, medically related and/or educational charities.

This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30 AM-1:00 PM. If tickets remain at 1:00 PM, the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets. As always, open seating on the hill. The shows goes on rain or shine.
