Covered Seating at Miller Outdoor Theatre

All performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre are free no matter where you sit! Covered seating, however, does require a ticket.

  • Tickets for covered seating are FREE
  • Evening Events (excluding movies) offer assigned seating in the covered area
  • A portion of the tickets will be available online here beginning at 10:00am, one day prior to the performance date until noon on the day of performance
  • Select popular performances may require submission into a “ticket lottery” to afford more people the opportunity to score a reserved seat. More info on the ticket lottery provided on the show page.
  • The remainder of the tickets will be available at the box office which opens and hour before the show starts
  • You must be 16  or older to order tickets
  • Each person is allowed a maximum of 4 tickets
  • The box office is located on the northeast corner of the Theatre
  • Be in your seat at least 10 minutes before show time as unoccupied seats will be released to the waiting public at the publicized show time.

Hillside Seating

Meet Us On The Hill!

Hillside seating is not ticketed!  Just bring a blanket or a lawn chair, a picnic, and enjoy the show!

  • Hill seating will be on a first-come/first-served basis.
  • Lawn chairs to the left, blankets to the right of the stage so that everyone has a great view
  • * NO glass containers of any kind are allowed
  • We ask that you leave bicycles in one of the nearby bike racks, do not bring dogs or other pets, and remember that there is no smoking OR vaping permitted

Accessible Seating

Look for CC and AD symbols indicating performances that are captioned for the hearing-impaired or audio described for the blind.

Listening devices/headsets are available at no cost at the Miller Security Desk one hour prior to curtain time. A valid Texas Driver License or state-issued ID is required as a deposit.

There are easily accessible wheelchair spaces in the covered seating area.

For information on these and other seating accommodations, call 832-487-7123 in advance.

FAQ’s for Seating

Tickets for Miller Outdoor Theatre’s sponsors, supporters and special needs patrons are pulled from the theatre’s allotment before any tickets are distributed to the general public. The producing organizations use their allotment of tickets for their patrons, staff, cast, sponsors, and for fundraising purposes, etc.

We encourage all patrons to be in their seats 10 minutes before showtime to ensure that their seat will not be released at showtime.

Again, there is NO charge for tickets.

PLEASE NOTE: At management’s discretion, all unoccupied seats may be released at any time for any reason.
