A one-of-a-kind showcase of inspired new collaborative works by Houston performers reflecting our richly diverse creative spirit with several works commissioned/choreographed especially for this event.

Juxtaposition of various styles of multiple cultures alongside classical art music is FMM’s way of departing from a typical concert atmosphere—a signature of our organization reflecting Houston’s unique identity.

This performance will include Rocio Braggiato (Intempo Dance), Dance Source Houston, Karen Stokes (UH Dance), Maria Fernanda Urbaez, Harrison Guy (Urban Souls), Solero Flamenco, Tracie Jackson (Intuitive African Dance and Drum Culture), Reinaldo Costa, Greenbriar Consortium, Houston Symphony musicians, Urban Souls, world premieres, celebrity host, and more.

Foundation For  Modern Music is dedicated to building audiences and public support for contemporary music in the classical tradition through concerts, educational outreach, and encouraging and supporting young composers. Culturally diverse programming and performers along with extensive cross-disciplinary collaborations reflect the values our city celebrates. This richness of diversity drives our day-to-day philosophy and operations.
