EL GRITO

Celebrate Mexican Independence day with the stirring Grito ceremony followed by a rousing performance that encompasses the colorful heritage and culture of Mexico, a tribute to Don  Antonio Aguilar,  featuring Antonio Aguilar hijo and Sandra Echeverría.

Born in the beautiful state of Zacatecas, Antonio Aguilar hijo’s passion for music began while touring and singing with his parents Don Antonio Aguilar and Doña Flor Silvestre as they crisscrossed Mexico and the US. Continuing the legacy of his famous father, an iconic ranchera singer, actor, and music pioneer Antonio hijo has  four albums to his name and a life-long passion for his music. Expect a rousing ranchera concert celebrating Mexican heritage!

Opening for Aguilar will be Sandra Echeverría, who has starred in numerous telenovelas like El Clon and La Fuerza del Destino, in which she also sang the show’s theme song alongside Marc Anthony. She also did a song with Enrique Iglesias and Marco Antonio Solis for El Perdedor. Her film repertoire includes Oliver Stone’s Salvajes (alongside Salma Hayek, Benicio del Toro, and John Travolta) and Casa de Mi Padre (alongside Will Ferrell). Sandra will be releasing her first solo album this year and is currently in the studio writing and recording.
