HISD Fine Arts Department will showcase with a variety of fine arts performances from schools across the district. The program will include singing, dancing, music playing and acting. This production will highlight representative Fine Arts programs from throughout the district. Students performing will be representing Band, Choir, Piano, Guitar, Orchestra, Dance, Theatre, and the Visual Arts; from Kindergarten – 12th Grade.

HISD Fine Arts views every student as an emerging artist. The Arts are vital to the development of the whole child. The importance of the Arts is clear: while stimulating imagination and self-expression, the Arts hold a significant role in the development of critical thinking, responsible decision making and cultural awareness. Students develop abilities and habits of mind that empower their learning across the curriculum. We strive to encourage the leader and artist, in every child to help them grasp, comprehend and appreciate the importance of creativity in our global society.

New Online ticketing is here!

Now you can get your Miller tickets online and on your smart phone! Limit 4 per person. Seating will be socially distanced. Masks are required in all City of Houston facilities and buildings. Miller Outdoor Theatre is owned by the City of Houston.

No tickets are necessary for the Hill! The Hill will be sectioned into pods with a maximum of 10 adults per pod.
