A Midsummer Night’s Dream

For their 47th Anniversary season, HSF presents 5 curated Shakespeare films in repertory! The HSF team will curate a selection of classic Shakespeare films, each one featuring a live pre-screening lecture by theatre historian and HSF executive Director Dr. Rob Shimko.

The lecture will begin at 7:40 at the raised picnic table area near the concession stand.

Tonight’s film will be Max Reinhardt’s classic Hollywood version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (1935), featuring an all-star cast including James Cagney, Mickey Rooney, and Olivia de Havilland.
