The Texas Medical Center Orchestra (TMCO) and Michael Gott team up to present Love Can Move the World, an evening of uplifting music.
The nationally recognized, award-winning Texas Medical Center Orchestra, led by founder Libi Lebel, is one of the few community orchestras in the nation with origins in the health professions. For this performance, TMCO will accompany Gott on many of his heartfelt songs, including Amazing Things, Let Me Fall, and Heart of the World.
Michael Gott has been well known in the world of New Thought spirituality for over 20 years. A talented singer-songwriter with a background in various musical styles, such as gospel, pop, opera, classical piano, and jazz, he offers exciting, engaging, and earnest music. He has recorded and released 10 albums.
The Texas Medical Center Orchestra(TMCO) is known as one of the finest community orchestras in the nation, winning the American Prize for best community orchestra in 2017 and 2018. The mission of the orchestra is to provide health care professionals with a high-quality outlet for creative expression through the world of symphonic music; perform regularly at affordable concerts that are open to the public and in an accessible venue; attract a diverse audience by commitments to select popular programming reflecting Houston’s diversity; and bring public attention to, and provide programmatic support for, medically related and/or educational charities.
