A Celebration of Music
in Texas and Beyond

Two powerhouse groups, Paragon Brass and Jazz Houston, come together for a unique program that blends tunes from early Texas to modern Jazz.   Join us and be prepared to tap those feet, swing those hips, and smile from ear to ear as your ears take part is this musical journey of Americana.

The breadth of American music had a deep impact on Texas and the greater Southern Delta. With influences from classical composers, to the deeply personal chords embodied in the blues, and the swings and jives from NOLA Cats, this program will delight audiences of all ages.

This performance is presented by Young Audiences of Houston, whose mission is to educate and inspire children through the arts, to make the arts an integral part of the school curriculum, and to advance the field of arts in education through teacher professional development training and community partnerships.

All performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre are free!

Seating for daytime performances is on a “first come, first served” basis for the covered seating area. NO TICKETS ARE NECESSARY. NO RESERVATIONS CAN BE MADE. As always, open seating on the hill. The shows goes on rain or shine. More information for school groups can be found here.
