Young Audiences Houston and iAct have teamed up to bring you the stellar children’s programming you’ve come to expect from Miller Outdoor Theatre.
This engaging play teaches the 3 essential parts of a story (Beginning, Middle and End) and explores characterization. The central character “Tiffany” pretends to be Goldilocks, The Big Bad Wolf, and The Troll in the familiar stories about the 3 bears, 3 pigs and 3 Billy Goats. She struggles to tell these stories with the reluctant help of 3 Boys who resist, question and eventually embody the trios of characters.
The final act is a new story where the 3 Boys must play 3 characters picked by the audience members – the catch for that story is that only the girls in the audience may pick the Boys characters.
Appropriate for all ages – adults and teachers alike will enjoy learning along with the kids during this beautifully acted performance.
Included here is the Curriculum Guide which includes TEKS and STAAR information, vocabulary guides, classroom connections for before and after the performance, and additional activities for language arts, math, social studies, and science!
